Using on-stage, semi-public monologues, installation and video recording, I aim to create a confession that involves self-reconciliation through the struggles between personal and artistic identities. This will expose and admit one's anxieties, desires, and disguises related to personal existential value, elitism, and the art system.
‘kaio’ reveal my confrontation with the identity of being an artist and its relevance, while embracing me and the outside world, reflecting on how this critical perspective and status anxiety stem from self-deficiency.
Perhaps more than the artwork itself, the artist desires to be understood.
